We are very proud to announce that we have now confirmed super star artist FRANK QUITELY as our headline guest for the festival joining our other big headline names.
Of course the artist known as Frank Quitely is now one of the most sought after comics artists in the business but he started out writing and drawing his own strips in indy comic Electric Soup.
Since then he has achieved critical and fan acclaim worldwide for his incredible work on high profile titles like New-X-Men, Batman & Robin, Sandman, We3, All Star Superman and Jupiter’s Legacy.
He’s worked with some of the most respected writers in the industry including Grant Morrison and Mark Millar on hit series after hit series.
Now he has come full circle and is back to writing and drawing his own strips again.
We are delighted here at comics Salopia to be welcoming such a powerhouse of comics creation. An artist with an instantly recognisable style who is a master storyteller and one of the few creators out there who’s participation on a book almost guarantees it commercial success.
At the festival Frank will be participating in panels and signing for fans for both days.
