Partners & Sponsors
A festival of this magnitude can only be made possible when the whole community gets involved. We are committed to engaging with people of all ages and backgrounds throughout the period of planning and delivery of our festival.
With this in mind our directors have reached out to a range of partners to help us make this amazing event a reality.
We are working closely with Shropshire Council, Shrewsbury Town Council, Shrewsbury University Centre and many other organisations, businesses and educational establishments to ensure that Comics Salopia delivers an amazing festival which benefits the whole community.
Here are some of our most prominent partners and sponsors so you can find out more about them and how they are contributing to the festival.
Our Marketing Partner is Yarrington, an established, award-winning, marketing, graphic design, web design, video and event management company providing a full range of services from their offices right here in Shrewsbury, to clients across the UK and Europe. Now in their twenty first year, the wealth of experience available through Yarrington sets them apart from the competition.
We are delighted to be working with such an innovative local company.
As well as providing us with a unique exhibition space for artists and writers at the Dana Prison, Joel and the team at immersive events will be hosting a thrilling Judge Dredd themed interactive story event that you can take part in as you are locked up with the Judges as well as the exclusive Dredd screening with John Wagner.
The Dana Prison is Shrewsbury’s number one tourist attraction and we are incredibly lucky to be working with them as our venue and event partners.

This local bi monthly publication has a circulation of well over 10,000 in the local area and will be featuring the festival heavily every issue, in the lead up to the event including exclusive interviews with guests and exciting news features highlighting some of the most impressive festival attractions.
We are absolutely delighted that The British Ironwork Centre have agreed to loan us some of their impressively huge metal sculptures for the festival to feature throughout the town at various locations.
These include a huge terminator sculpture and a huge 14ft Bumblebee Transformers statue, with built in lighting.
The Ironwork Centre is an incredible local hub of creativity, with a huge metal safari, an art gallery and a multitude of other attractions all year round… a great day out for all the family.
